These capacitors are designed specially for heavy duty operations in sophisticated or extreme operating conditions. These are ideal for power factor correction and AC filtering in UPS and wind power applications, harmonic filtering in 3 phase mains with unusual or high levels of harmonic distortion, A.M.O. They are reckoned for their high AC-voltage load capacity.


Due to their good construction, our capacitors have a small self-inductance and a very low series resistance. Our basic designing principle is to choose wave cut technology and short winding elements with comparably large diameters, ensuring good surge current strength and high RMS.


In delta, the three capacitor elements are connected internally, the plant oil filling is eco-friendly and serves for improved internal insulation and optimized heat dissipation. Moreover, the finger-proof CAPAGRIP screw terminals make for reliable and simple connections and easy addition of IP20 reactors or resistors for discharge.


The standard capacitors have a long term stable capacitance tolerance of ± 5%, while the tighter tolerances can also be available on requirement. Not only this, our capacitors also have good integrated overpressure protection (BAM) and self-healing characteristics that ensure efficient operation and controlled disconnection in the case of failure or overload at the end of operational life.
